Following changes to the endorsing body system made by the Home Office, Innovate in Britain has been appointed ‘legacy endorsing body’ status. This means that Innovate in Britain is no longer able to accept and process new applications for endorsement.

If you are a founder affected by this change, please read the advice below.

If you are already endorsed by Innovate in Britain for either the Start-up or Innovator visa, your endorsement will remain valid. Innovate in Britain is authorised to continue maintaining and monitoring its existing endorsed founders. This includes providing future Start-up to Innovator switching, extension or UK settlement endorsement letters to its existing endorsed founders as necessary to continue their business development in the UK.

Existing founders supported by Innovate in Britain can use the following contact details: for business support services, for matters relating to endorsement, or for matters relating to monitoring checkpoints.

If you have applied to Innovate in Britain but not received an endorsement, please note that Innovate in Britain is unfortunately not able to continue with your application. Applicants are advised to seek endorsement from an eligible endorsing body. Please monitor the GOV.UK website for further information about eligible endorsing bodies.
